Clippers Vs. Wizards: Clippers Lead 64-55 At Halftime As Blake Griffin Has 26 Points

The Washington Wizards aren't quite having their best night of basketball, but a decent second quarter has the Wizards down only nine points at halftime to Blake Griffin and the Los Angeles Clippers.

The highlight of the quarter was a half-court alley opp from John Wall to JaVale McGee, who slammed the ball down over Griffin. It was as if the 2011 slam dunk contest runner-up was channeling the slam dunk contest champion himself.

Wall is leading the Wizards with 19 points in 21 minutes, while Jordan Crawford as 12 points off the bench. The Wizards have yet to find an answer though for Griffin, who has 26 points to lead all scorers.

The Clippers have attempted 28 free throws in the first as a team, double the number attempted by the Wizards. If Washington is going to come back in this game at home, they're going to need to do a better job of limiting the Clippers' chances.
