Wizards Vs. Raptors Score: Toronto Shooting Lights Out, Leads 62-53 At Halftime

Stay connected for news and updates

The shorthanded Washington Wizards are looking for their second road win of the season. If they want to get it against the Toronto Raptors, they're going to need to play better defense. The Wizards have shown some good things offensively, but still trail 62-53 after the first half.

The Raptors are shooting 56 percent from the field in the first half and are lighting up the scoreboard. Andrea Bargnani and DeMar DeRozan have 18 points apiece, with Bargnani getting 13 of those 14 points at the free-throw line. Jose Calderon added 12 points for the Raptors.

The Wizards have put up some good numbers of their own, though. Trevor Booker and Jordan Crawford have 16 and 15 points, respectively, while John Wall has 11 points and four assists. The Wizards are shooting nearly 48 percent as a team, and are usually getting good shots offensively. They just need to figure out a way to play some defense.
