The Wizards beat the Jazz 100-95 last night for just their second road win on the season. The win meant that they won't go down as the worst road team in NBA history, which means that it is time to celebrate! According to Michael Lee of the Washington post's Wizards Insider, the Wiz were celebrating as soon as the clock hit zero. But it was Mo Evans who found the perfect way to express just how difficult the win was to get.
"I felt like I was in Buffalo Wild Wings commercial, where they kept tripping you and making something happen to prolong the game," Evans said with a laugh after scoring seven of his 12 points in overtime. "We always got to make it dramatic, but I’m glad that we got it."
I wonder if Evans is getting compensated for that shout out? How many wings does a mention in a post game interview these days?
