John Wall Finishes 10th In NBA Jersey Sales, Ahead Of Blake Griffin

Stay connected for news and updates

John Wall's likely Rookie of the Year season was ruined by a Blake Griffin knee injury, allowing the Clippers' star to become eligible for the award even though he's essentially a "redshirt rookie." Even though you could argue his year around an NBA roster makes him unlike a real rookie, Griffin will win the award. If this sounds like sour grapes, it is.

But that sour grape-ing is over because Wall beat Griffin where it counts. That's right: jersey sales! The league announced the top 15 most-sold jerseys worldwide, and Wall comes in 10th, one spot ahead of Griffin. Here is the top 15:

1. LeBron James, Miami Heat
2. Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles Lakers
3. Rajon Rondo, Boston Celtics
4. Amar'e Stoudemire, New York Knicks
5. Derrick Rose, Chicago Bulls
6. Dwyane Wade, Miami Heat
7. Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City Thunder
8. Carmelo Anthony, New York Knicks
9. Dwight Howard, Orlando Magic
10. John Wall, Washington Wizards
11. Blake Griffin, Los Angeles Clippers
12. Shaquille O'Neal, Boston Celtics
13. Ray Allen, Boston Celtics
14. Paul Pierce, Boston Celtics
15. Kevin Garnett, Boston Celtics

Take that, Blake lovers!
