Jan Vesely Still Doesn't Get The Big Deal With 'The Kiss'

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Jan Vesely was once again asked about "The Kiss" in a press conference introducing him as the Washington Wizards' newest team member. "The Kiss," of course, refers to the moment where, upon being drafted, he stood up and French-kissed his girlfriend Eva Kodouskova (the blond in this picture) with the TV cameras on him. Afterwards, Vesely didn't get the big deal about the whole thing.

"It's my girfriend. It was a big moment for me and for her for my family, so I don't know. It was just casual, so I don't know what to say."

Four days later, and wouldn't you know it, Vesely still doesn't get why the kiss was such a big deal.

"All the news is writing about that," he said. "Nobody knows about the picks, it was on that night, everybody talking about the kiss. I think we went to history."

I think we all get the point by now.
