The Washington Wizards lost on Tuesday to the Charlotte Bobcats and on Wednesday to the Dallas Mavericks, falling to 0-7 this season.

The Washington Wizards remain winless, having dropped back-to-back contests to the Charlotte Bobcats and Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday and Wednesday. Washington is now 0-7 this season, and a loss on Saturday to the Utah Jazz would equal last season's franchise-worst start to the season at 0-8.

Tuesday's 92-76 loss to the Bobcats was particularly gruesome, as the Wizards made just 5 of 31 three point attempts in the game. To make matters worse, rookie Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (15 points, eight rebounds, two assists) of Charlotte thoroughly outplayed fellow Washington rookie Bradley Beal.

The Wizards put up more of a fight on Wednesday evening, before eventually succumbing 107-101 to host Dallas. Of course, while the offense finally showed signs of life, the Wizards were helpless on defense, allowing the Mavericks to score 34 points in the fourth quarter.

Washington continues to toil in the basement of the Southeast Division, but other divisional foes are struggling as well. The Orlando Magic have lost five in a row, and the Atlanta Hawks are just 3-4 this year. Even the defending NBA champion Miami Heat have struggled a bit out of the gate, going 6-3 to start the season.
