John Wall will be visiting a doctor on Wednesday to receive an update about his injured knee. As of this time, he has no timetable for a return.
As of this time, he has no planned timetable for a return. While there has been some hope that the 22-year-old could return by Nov. 30, Wall made it clear that he doesn't want to rush the injury and risk further damage to that part of his body. He is expected to be available sometime in December.
Wall learned about the injury five weeks ago after visiting orthopedic specialist David Altchek in New York and was projected to miss at least eight weeks. At the moment, Wall has been limited to stretching and shooting jumpers. He remains cautious about pushing himself too hard, as Altchek warned that he could potentially suffer a stress fracture without the appropriate amount of rest.
Wall explained that he understands that he needs to be patient, via the Washington Post:
"I learned my first year to listen to my body more than my heart. I came back injured but I still came back okay, but I didn't come back the way I wanted to. I know to take my time this time."
