The Washington Wizards have not won a game in Madison Square Garden since December of 2006.

The Washington Wizards continued to struggle on Friday night in a 108-87 loss to the New York Knicks. Washington got its first win on Wednesday against the Portland Trail Blazers, but the loss to the Knicks knocks them down to 1-13 on the season. This was the tenth straight loss Washington has suffered against the Knicks.

New York jumped out to an early lead (26-17 after the first quarter) and never relinquished it. Carmelo Anthony and J.R. Smith each scored 20 points, while Tyson Chandler scored 12 and grabbed 10 rebounds. The Knicks were without Jason Kidd for the third straight game. Jordan Crawford led the Wizards with 17 points. Kevin Seraphin added 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Around the Southeast division, three other teams were in action. The Charlotte Bobcats fell to the Philadelphia 76ers, 104-98. The Orlando Magic lost to the Brooklyn Nets, 98-86. And the Atlanta Hawks came up short against the Cleveland Cavaliers, 113-111.
