At 3-18, the Wizards are at or near the bottom of the latest NBA power rankings.
The Washington Wizards picked up their third win of the season last week, but that didn't stop them from dropping to No. 30 in the latest NBA power rankings.
The Wizards dropped one spot to No. 30 in SB Nation's power rankings. Injuries have been a big part of the Wizards struggles, but as Seth Rosenthal said, at least John Wall's condition appears to be improving. Wall's return could go a long way in helping Washington climb out of the bottom spot.
While Washington was last in SB Nation's power rankings, the Wizards checked in at No. 28 in NBA.com and ESPN.com's latest rankings. The No. 28 ranking is a two spot improvement in NBA.com's rankings. The Wizards moved ahead of the Charlotte Bobcats and New Orleans Hornets.
ESPN.com's Marc Stein kept the Wizards at No. 28 while noting the modest recent improvement from Bradley Beal. The Oklahoma City Thunder, who reportedly remain high on Beal, are No. 1 in all three power rankings.
