NBA standings 2012: Wizards looking up at everyone

The Washington Wizards have the worst record in the NBA. How bad is their record in relation to the rest of the NBA?

The Washington Wizards rank No. 30 out of 30 teams when it comes to their record, currently at 3-20. The record has them dead last in the Southeast Division, 13.5 games behind the division-leading Miami Heat. The team with the next best record in the league is the New Orleans Hornets at 5-20, whom the Wizards beat on Dec. 11.

The Heat currently have a 16-6 record, the second best among Eastern Conference division leaders. Second place in the division is the Atlanta Hawks, who are only 1.5 games out of first place in the division with a 15-8 record. Third place in the division is the Orlando Magic at 12-13, 5.5 games behind the Heat and one game behind the Boston Celtics for the No. 8 seed in the Conference.

Fourth place in the Southeast Division is the Charlotte Bobcats, losers of 13 in a row which has dropped their record to 7-18.
