The Wizards' struggles continued in a 32-point loss to the Pistons on Friday night.

The Washington Wizards have dropped six games in a row, which puts them nine games behind the Boston Celtics for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. Washington (3-21) has the fewest wins in the NBA. The Wizards trail the division-leading Miami Heat by 14.5 games in the Southeast.

Elsewhere in the Eastern Conference, the New York Knicks (19-7) have a comfortable lead atop the Atlantic division. New York lost on Friday night to the Chicago Bulls, but still leads the Brooklyn Nets by 5.5 games in the division. With the win, Chicago maintained a one-game advantage in the Central over the Milwaukee Bucks and the Indiana Pacers. Milwaukee and Indiana both won their games on Friday night.

In the West, the Oklahoma City Thunder hold the NBA's best record at 21-5, and a seven-game lead in the Northwest division. The Los Angeles Clippers have a 2.5-game lead in the Pacific division, while the San Antonio Spurs and Memphis Grizzlies are tied atop the Southwest.
