Trevor Ariza left Tuesday night's game against the Heat with a left calf injury.

Washington Wizards forward Trevor Ariza suffered a left calf strain on a steal attempt Tuesday night in the Wizards game against the Miami Heat, and will not return.

Ariza had just grabbed the ball and was headed up court when he pulled up lame, unable to continue play. Ariza immediately reached for his left leg, just below his knee. The Washington forward has struggled with injuries in the past.

After suffering the injury, Ariza was taken directly to the locker room by Wizards staff members to be looked at further.

Ariza had recorded four points, five assists and three steals before heading off to the locker room.

In Ariza's place, Jordan Crawford and Martell Webster are likely to see some playing time in the latter portion of the night's game against the Heat.

Through midway through the third quarter, the Wizards (1-13) held on to a close lead over the Heat (12-3).
