The Wizards finally got back to Washington after a five-game road trip, but it wasn't a happy return as the Sacramento Kings handed the Wiz their fourth consecutive loss.

Usually we go positive first, but let's get right to the good stuff ... Optimists are welcome to scroll on down.
• Nick Young is driving Randy Wittman mad. Young shot nine times in nine first-quarter minutes and finished with 17 points ... and 17 missed shots, including a 360-layup that drew the ire of his coach.
"We got guys going in for a layup and does a reverse 360 and misses the whole thing," Wittman said. "Crowd oohed and ahhed -- we didn't get any points out of it."
Young's response when asked if the coach was singling him out? "Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Most definitely," Young said. "I was the only one who did it. I did that in the past. If it goes in, everybody's on my side. If I miss it then it's a bad shot."
• JaVale McGee is the goaltending king of forever. No question this video is The Play of the Night from this game, whatever that means.
It's important to note that when Randy Wittman yanked McGee after this play, it wasn't for the bonehead goaltending. It's important to laugh -- and there are good LOLs to be had here -- but it's also neat to remember the utlimate goal is to win basketball games. via Wittman:
"What led to the goaltend? What was he supposed to be doing? See, that's the thing people don't understand and it's hard to explain, OK? What his job in the pick is, is not to let the guard get to the rim. Goaltending? That had nothing to do with it. OK? Nothing to do with it."
• So this is what Jordan Crawford, instant-offense looks like. Crawford is one of the Wizards only offensive options off the bench, which at times seems to cause him to press for shots. For the most part on Wednesday, Crawford smart decisions -- the smartest being to attack Sacramento's defense-allergic guard Jimmer Fredette. He finished with 32 points and four assists.
• Fresh off a 21-9-11 performance, John Wall is headed to Orlando for All-Star weekend! Wizards fans can watch their franchise point guard in the Rookie/Sophomore(-ish) game and the Skills Challenge. John's excited, too!
"I'm not really focused about those," he said.
Oh, well OK. Wall added, "I get time to clear my mind, too."
We all do.

The Washington Wizards just concluded a five-game road trip and were trying to avoid having their three-game losing streak extended to four games as they hosted the struggling Sacramento Kings. The Kings would not oblige however, rallying back after halftime to hand the Wizards their fourth loss in a row while snapping their own six-game losing streak.
The Wizards held a lead at halftime, but couldn't do enough defensively or offensively to slow down the Kings. John Wall once again picked up a double-double, scoring 21 points with 11 assists. Nick Young went on a three-point shooting spree, but only sunk four of his ten shots, picking up 17 points in the loss. Jordan Crawford led the Wiz in scoring however, picking up 32 points.
The Kings had both Tyreke Evans picked up 22 points, missing on just two shots on the night. Marcus Thornton also picked up 22 points while DeMarcus Cousins picked up a double-double with 16 points and 16 rebounds in the win.

Get out of JaVale McGee's house, Francisco Garcia. (Oh, you can totally keep the points though.)
WASHINGTON - The Wizards are back in the Verizon Center for the first game since Feb. 10. Before Washington faces the Kings, here are some notes from head coach Randy Wittman's pregame media availability, etc.
• Focus is key. Washington returns home from a five-game trip west, but has just one game before the NBA All-Star break. Uh oh -- TRAP GAME. "There's no question these games are games in the league that can be stolen," Wittman said. "We gotta make sure that we're not the team checking out."
• Shots not falling? No problem. ... If you're doing something else, that is. Wittman stressed that an off shooting night can't take a player out of the other facets of the game (looking at you, Nick Young, Rashard Lewis ...) "You can't be a player that that's going to be your only effect on the game," he said.
• Oh yeah, Andray Blatche. The Wizards forward was out on the floor participating in drills with the team before the game, though he was only going about 3/4 speed -- putting up shots and dribbling around. He was also sporting this sleeve on his calf:

The Wizards started their five-game road trip with back-to-back wins but ended losing three straight, including being blown out by the Phoenix Suns on Monday.
The Sacramento Kings haven't faired much better than the Wizards this season, as they're on the heels of a six-game losing streak and also coming off a blowout loss. The Wizards will hope to take advantage of the Kings on the end of their east coast road trip on Wednesday night.

The Washington Wizards will return home after a five-game West Coast swing to face the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night at the Verizon Center. The Wizards bring a 7-25 record into the contest after a 2-3 road trip, while the Kings are losers of six games in a row following Tuesday's 120-108 loss to the Miami Heat.
The game will reunite John Wall with college teammate DeMarcus Cousins. Both players have starred recently after slow starts. Wall is averaging 17.8 points and 8.3 assists per game on 47.6 percent shooting in the month of February, while Cousins is currently sixth in the NBA in rebounds per game. Fellow Kings star Tyreke Evans has struggled this season, but he's a dangerous player as well to watch.
This is the final game for both teams before the All-Star Break. The Wizards will start the second half of the season on the road before playing their next five games at home.

VIDEO: Randy Wittman's Postgame Press Conference In Its Entirety
by Samuel Chamberlain
There's really nothing quite like being there in person to watch a coach slowly lose his mind after a loss, but this video from Patrick Pho of We Love DC is a pretty good substitute. Watch as Wittman's anger slowly builds while discussing his team's rebounding, JaVale McGee being JaVale McGee, Nick Young being Nick Young, and the selfishness of his guards.
It really is three minutes of mastery, and it's after the jump.
