VIDEO: John Wall Begins Rising Stars Challenge By Blocking Norris Cole

When John Wall's name was announced prior to the beginning of the Rising Stars Challenge at NBA All-Star Weekend, he had a blank look on his face, as if he was actually taking this game seriously. These are the kinds of things that happen when you're passed over 11 times in the actual draft despite being one year removed from being a No. 1 overall pick. He eventually came into the game midway through the first half and took out his anger on Norris Cole with this flying swat.

You could almost say that was a swat reminiscent of what we see sometimes from Wall's teammate, JaVale McGee. Speaking of things reminiscent of JaVale McGee, Wall also eliminated a basket from teammate Derrick Favors by hanging on the rim trying a putback dunk before the ball went into the hoop.
