The Washington Wizards are struggling, having lost their third straight on Friday night against the Toronto Raptors to fall to 4-19 on the season. Their reward? A date with Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and the surging Los Angeles Clippers at Verizon Center.
Washington fell, 106-89, to a shorthanded Toronto Raptors team playing without star big man Andrea Bargnani on Friday night. The Wizards were beaten badly on the glass and lit up in the paint. The Clippers don't offer much of a remedy for either of those problems.
The Clippers are 13-7 on the year, but had come on with several big wins of late before Thursday's blowout loss to Denver. Paul has emerged as a potential MVP candidate, and Griffin, despite some early struggles, has been outstanding as of late. The Clippers did fall in embarrassing fashion to the Nuggets at home on Thursday night, so they may be out for revenge.
Game time is at 7 p.m.
