The Wizards are coming off a 102-88 loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night, a game in which Washington scored just 34 second-half points. The Wizards committed 20 turnovers in the contest, with John Wall accounting for nine of those giveaways. It was Washington's fourth game in five nights, and the second contest since JaVale McGee, Nick Young and Ronny Turiaf were traded away in exchange for Nene and Brian Cook.

Memphis is also coming off a loss on Friday, as the Grizzlies fell 114-110 in overtime to the Toronto Raptors despite 25 points from Zach Randolph and 26 points from Rudy Gay. The Grizzlies missed 20 of 51 free-throw attempts in the game. Memphis is looking to avoid their first three-game home losing streak since November of 2010.

The Wizards, 4-17 overall on the road this season, are 0-12 away from home against teams which currently have a winning record. Memphis, conversely, is 12-3 this season against teams currently under .500.
