The Wizards forward needs time off to get his body back in shape.
Washington Wizards forward Andray Blatche will be shut down for a period of time in order to regain his conditioning according to a tweet by Washington Post Wizards Insider Michael Lee.

Blatche had only just returned from injury on March 3 against the Cleveland Cavaliers and has scored in double figures only two times since then. He's also not made more than 5 rebounds since his first game back from injury in that March 3 game, where he grabbed 9 rebounds. It culminated with a playing time of only five minutes in Sunday's loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.
Blatche was talked about as a player that could have possibly been traded before the deadline, but he remains with the Wizards and now they have to have him take a break just to get his body ready to play again. It does not speak highly to Blatche's work ethic, which has been a questionable factor his entire career.
