The Washington Wizards will try to beat the Atlanta Hawks for the first time this season tonight at the Verizon Center.
The Washington Wizards will look to rebound from a devastating loss to the Indiana Pacers on Thursday when they host the suddenly surging Atlanta Hawks at the Verizon Center. The Wizards blew a 22-point lead to the Pacers on Thursday, Washington's third loss in its last four games. The game against Atlanta offers on opportunity for the Wizards to get back on track, but it won't be easy. Atlanta is playing quality basketball.
The Hawks have won four of their last five games, but will be playing on the second half of a back-to-back. The Hawks defeated the Nets 93-84 on Friday.
The Hawks are 2-0 against Washington this season, but both games were in Atlanta. Actually, Washington's problems with the Hawks dates back further than just this season: Atlanta has won 14 of the last 15 games versus the Wizards.
