Stay connected for news and updates

The Los Angeles Lakers and Kobe Bryant have had their way with the Washington Wizards in the first half, leading 64-49 at the Verizon Center.

The masked Bryant has scored a game-high 20 points in the game, adding in three assists, three steals and two rebounds for good measure. Pau Gasol has added nine points and seven rebounds for Los Angeles

Jordan Crawford leads the Wizards with 10 points, on four of 13 shooting from the floor. Much maligned big man JaVale McGee has chipped in six points and right rebounds.
