Can the Wizards avenge a last second loss to the Pistons about a week later?
The Washington Wizards are trying hard to not give up on the season as it comes to a close. They travel to Detroit for their fourth game in five days as they play the Pistons at the Palace at Auburn Hills on Thursday night.
The Wizards are coming of a 109-96 loss to the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday where Jordan Crawford scored a team high 28 points. John Wall added 13 points and Kevin Seraphim had a career high 19 points and 10 rebounds as he attemtped to pick up the slack from the absence of Trevor Booker and Nene, both out with plantar fasciitis. There is no word yet if those two will be available for Thursday's game.
The Pistons are playing great having won two games in a row including a 79-77 victory over the Wizards on March 26. Rodney Stuckey hit a 20-foot shot with 0.2 seconds left in the game to cap a 13-point comeback against the Wizards. The Wizards will have to keep an eye on him as well as Greg Monroe and Ben Gordon.
The game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. Television coverage will be provided by Comcast Sports Net Plus.
