The Washington Wizards will select third in the 2012 NBA Draft, to be held June 28 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. In recent days the Wizards have worked out possible selections Thomas Robinson, Bradley Beal and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, and according to Chad Ford of ESPN.com Washington will be bringing in Harrison Barnes for a workout on Tuesday:

A consensus seems to be forming that the Wizards will select Kentucky's Michael Kidd-Gilchrist with the third pick, but of course Michael Jordan and the Charlotte Bobcats could throw a wrench into those plans by taking MKG. Robinson, Beal or Barnes would certainly be an acceptable consolation prize.
