Washington Capitals Injuries: Mike Green A Game-Time Decision Against Bruins

It's only been one week, and already, the Washington Capitals are a bit banged up. Defensemen Tom Poti and goalie Semyon Varlamov have been hurt at different stretches of the season, but the most important injury has been defensemen Mike Green. Green missed Saturday's game against the Nashville Predators with an upper body injury, and coach Bruce Boudreau said he'll be a game-time decision for tonight's game against the Boston Bruins.

However, it doesn't look like Green is going to play tonight. Via Katie Carerra of the Washington Post:

Coach Bruce Boudreau said ... Mike Green (upper-body injury) is a game-time decision. Green went back out on the ice for extra work with the assistant coaches and remained on the ice long after the other players, so it's probably safe to guess he won't be in the lineup tonight.

Boudreau confirmed that Matt Bradley will not play tonight with a lower body injury, and added that Boyd Gordon may not play either. On the bright side, Poti should be back in the lineup tonight.
