Hockey
↵7:00, CSN Washington Plus: Sabres vs. Capitals. Alex Ovechkin: Good enough to have a DVD made about him, not quite good enough to get his games aired on CSN's main channel.
↵Basketball
↵7:30, CSN Washington: Wizards vs. Celtics. Hopefully John Wall is back in action tonight (editor's note: he's not), and hopefully JaVale McGee busts out "The Fish" in his return to Boston.
↵If you can't live without football
↵8:00, ESPN U: Miami (Ohio) vs. Akron. Hey, all you coaches out there, here's a tip: Win early in your tenure. When you don't win, it doesn't look good in game previews. Take for example, Akron's new coach, Rob Ianello: "Akron Coach Rob Ianello (Catholic University of America, 1987): Is in his first season at the helm for the Zips and as a collegiate head coach, owning an 0-10 record in that time. He was introduced as the program's 26th all-time coach on Dec. 10, 2009, but is just the sixth person to hold the position since 1960."
↵When the best quality your university's media relations team can mention is that you hold a job, that's not good.
