Capitals Vs. Thrashers: Washington Looks To Continue Its Good Run

The Atlanta Thrashers have been a pesky opponent for the Washington Capitals this season. They beat them on opening night, and they battled before losing 6-4 about a week ago. Now, the Capitals get them again.

The two teams will play in Atlanta tonight at 7:30 p.m. for the fourth time this season. Washington is 2-1 against the Thrashers this year, but all three games have been close. Washington's two wins over the Thrashers were in Washington, D.C., so this is yet another test for the team.

The Capitals will start Braden Holtby in goal tonight, while the Thrashers will counter with Ondrej Pavelec, who collapsed in the first game.

The Capitals have only lost one game in their last 12 contests, so they are looking to keep their streak alive.
