Top Recruit Quinn Cook Chooses Duke

The defending national champion Duke Blue Devils have a dynamic freshman expected to make an impact this season in Kyrie Irving. Coach Mike Krzyzewski has plenty more talent on the way in the form of Oak Hill Academy point guard Quinn Cook, who has verbally committed to Duke for the 2011-2012 season.

Cook chose Duke over Villanova, UCLA and Duke's arch rival, North Carolina. The 6'1" point guard is No. 24 on ESPNU's Top 100 list and the No. 5 point guard available. Cook will join a star-studded recruiting class that also includes guard Austin Rivers, the No. 1 overall player and son of Boston Celtics head coach Doc, and center Marshall Plumlee, the younger brother of current Blue Devils Miles and Mason.

With senior guard Nolan Smith's graduation imminent, Cook has a great chance to find a spot in the Blue Devils' rotation.
