Boston College Vs. Maryland: Terrapins Look To Get ACC Season Started Right

We've played one half of basketball in College Park, and it's been a good, exciting half of basketball. The Maryland Terrapins lead Boston College 41-39 in a high-scoring, up-tempo ACC game.

Boston College led early, but Maryland rallied to take the lead thanks to Jordan Williams. The all-world big man has 13 points and six rebounds already on 5-7 shooting from the field. Terrell Stoglin added 10 points off the bench, though he needed 11 shots to get there.

The Eagles are led by Biko Paris with 11 points and Danny Rubin with nine. Seventeen of their 33 field goal attempts are three-pointers, and they've hit just six of those shots. However, they have to happy down just two points because they have three key players with two fouls each. Maryland, on the other hand, has largely avoided that problem -- only Dino Gregory has two fouls. The Terps also have a 21-15 rebounding advantage.
