Wizards Vs. Nets: Shorthanded Wiz Seek First Road Win Against Lowly Nets

The Wizards are 0-12 on the road, their longest road losing streak in 12 years. Washington, however, has a long-running winning streak against the New Jersey Nets. The shorthanded Wizards will look to kill two birds with one stone tonight in Newark against the Nets.

Washington hasn't lost 13 straight away from home since 1999-2000 when they lost 15 in a row. Yet, the Wizards have won four straight in New Jersey and five straight overall against the Nets.

If the Wizards want to break their winless streak, they will have to do it shorthanded. Yi Jianlian is out for at least two weeks with a MCL sprain, while John Wall and Andray Blatche have been sitting out recently with injuries of their own. In their absence, Nick Young is averaging 18.2 points in his past five games.

Meanwhile, the Nets have lost eight straight and are the worst team in the Eastern Conference.
