Preakness Stakes Will Remain At Pimlico In 2011
Due to a funding dispute, it looked like the Preakness Stakes may have had to be moved from Pimlico in 2011. However, Governer O'Malley said the state would provide the necessary funds to keep the race in Maryland.

Thanks to a dispute by the track owners and the racing commission, it looked like the Preakness Stakes may have had to be moved from Pimlico in 2011. However, Governer O'Malley said the state would provide the necessary funds to keep the race at Pimlico.
