By this time tomorrow, we will know where every bowl-eligible team in college football will be spending their holiday season. There have been many bowl projections, but at 8:15 p.m. tonight, we will officially know every single matchup. ESPN will begin by announcing the BCS Bowls, and then will continue with all the other bowls at 9 p.m.
We have a very good idea of where Maryland, Navy and all the other ACC teams will be going this year, as we'll note later on in this StoryStream. However, nothing is official until those times. We've had situations where bowls have pulled a fast one on everyone at the last minute and gone with a different team. It may happen again.
Maryland and Navy are the only two local teams that are bowl eligible. The ACC has the following bowl-eligible teams: Virginia Tech, Florida State, North Carolina State, Maryland, Miami, North Carolina, Clemson, Boston College and Georgia Tech.
