Wizards Vs. Suns: Washington Looks For First Road Win In The Desert

The Washington Wizards have not won a road game all season. Tonight, they will go for their first when they take on the Phoenix Suns at 8 p.m. in Phoenix.

The Wizards moved to 6-12 on the season with a win over the Portland Trail Blazers at the Verizon Center on Friday night. The Wizards got a great defensive performance for the first time all season, even though it came against an injury-riddled Blazers team. However, John Wall struggled in the game, shooting just 3-13 and looking detached at times. Truth About It's Kyle Weidie asked Flip Saunders about that after the game.

"Yea, he did. Don't know why ... he did. And I'm sure he's disappointed in how he played, you know, as far as that. But like I said, this is a man's game," explained Saunders. "When you're in situations and you're out playing, you have teammates, there's sometimes that it's not you're night. Somebody else has got to carry you, and what you gotta do is you gotta be all-in for the guy that's carrying you. That's what this league is about. That and match-ups. So I'm sure he'll be fine," the coach concluded.

The Suns are 10-9 on the season. For more on the Suns, check out this game preview from Bright Side of the Sun.
