3:45 P.M.: Nationals Try To Win Series Against Giants

San Francisco, CA (Sports Network) - Freddy Sanchez went 2-for-2 with a pair of walks, two runs batted in and a run scored, as San Francisco scored three times in the bottom of the seventh and held on for a 5-4 win over the Nationals in the rubber match of a three-game set at AT&T Park.

Aubrey Huff turned in a 3-for-4 effort with a solo homer, and Juan Uribe had two hits and knocked in a run for San Francisco, which had lost six of seven games coming in.

Barry Zito did not figure in the decision after working 6 1/3 innings, allowing four runs -- three earned -- on seven hits. The left-hander walked five batters and fanned three. Santiago Casilla (1-0) picked up the win for retiring the last two hitters in the seventh. Brian Wilson locked the game down in the ninth to register his 12th save of the season.
