I think we can safely say that Stephen Strasburg's Major League debut will not occur on June 4, because Mark Zuckerman is reporting Strasburg will make one more start for AAA Syracuse on June 3. Strasburg may be the most hyped pitching prospect in years, but even he can't pitch on one days' rest.
It still remains unclear when Strasburg will make his debut, but Zuckerman took a guess.
The Nationals have not announced any plans for the top pitching prospect beyond that, but this lines him up to pitch again either June 8 or June 9. The Nats host the Pirates June 8-10.
Zuckerman (and every other reporter, for that matter) was wrong last time. Maybe he'll be right this time.
