Tonight's recommended viewing options (all times EDT):

Baseball

7:05 p.m - Pirates @ Nationals, MASN 2. With Livan on the mound, does anyone else think Stephen Strasburg's single-game franchise strikeout record could be in jeopardy?

(UPDATE) 11:35 p.m. - "Late Show with David Letterman," CBS. Stephen Strasburg counts down the "Top 10: Facts About Stephen Strasburg."  I suggest you stay up for it, even if it's a school night.

Basketball

9:00 p.m. - Lakers @ Celtics, ABC. Rondo & Co. will try to even the series at two apiece.

Soccer

7:00 p.m. - World Cup Preview, ESPN 2. If you aren't excited for Saturday by now, then shame on you. Watch this World Cup Preview; it runs a good three hours.

10:00 p.m. - DC United @ Seattle Sounders, ESPN 2. Not only will this be of additional help in getting you jacked up for the World Cup, but you'll have a chance to see teen phenom Andy Najar unleashed.

Movie

8:15 p.m. - "What Happens In Vegas," MAX. Just hear me out. This is one of those movies that you make fun of all your buddies for watching and want to hate, but secretly, deep down, really enjoyed watching it yourself. It's surprisingly funny, minus the Cameron Diaz parts.

Animals

9:00 p.m. - "The Blue Planet: Seas of Life," Animal Planet. Find out about unusual life forms as they investigate the deep parts of the ocean. Say it with me: learning is fun!

Beverages

9:00 p.m. - "Drink Up," Cooking Channel. Delicious beer cocktails will be brewed. I have no idea what a beer "cocktail" is, but I'm intrigued.
