Bears Win 4-0 To Clinch Second Consecutive AHL Title

The Hershey Bears have clinched their second consecutive Calder Cup Championship on the heels of a 4-0 shutout victory over the Texas Stars in Game 6.

John Carlson and Karl Alzner scored in the first period and Patrick McNeill added goals in the second and third period to lead Hershey. Michael Neuvirth was credited with the shutout.

This is the 11th Calder Cup Championship for the Bears, and third as the minor league affiliate of the Washington Capitals.

The Bears went 60-17-3 in the regular season for 123 points, the greatest regular season in AHL history.
