Stephen Strasburg Is Not The Face Of The Nationals?

That big-time pitching phenom, a.k.a. you-know-who, a.k.a. what's-his-name, a.k.a. Stephen Strasburg, is doing and saying all the right things in only a week since being called up by the Washington Nationals.

One of the things he's doing is exemplifying extraordinary humility. Via Nationals Journal:

"I'm not the face of the franchise," Strasburg said. "You got to talk to guys like Pudge and Dunn and Zimmerman. They've been here. They've earned that right. I've pitched two games here.

Obviously, any rookie with sense would defer to teammates on such a matter, but this isn't any rookie. This is Stephen Strasburg! FYSS! Of course he's the face of the franchise, right? You decide.
