Houston, TX (Sports Network) - Carlos Lee and Hunter Pence drove in two runs apiece, and the Astros came away with a 5-1 win against Washington in the continuation of a four-game series at Minute Maid Park.
Lee's two-run homer in the third, his sixth this season, served as the go- ahead hit, while Pence's triple to deep center field scored a pair in the seventh to serve as insurance for Houston, which walked off with an 8-7 win in the bottom of the ninth of Tuesday's matchup with Lance Berkman's two-run single.
Wandy Rodriguez (3-7) fanned eight, but reached 115 pitches through five innings and was pulled having allowed one run on five hits.
John Lannan (2-3) gave up five runs -- three earned -- on eight hits in 6 1/3 innings for the Nationals, who fell to 3-6 on their 10-game road swing. Adam Dunn had three hits and an RBI in the loss.
