National's John Lannan Assigned To Double-A Affiliate Harrisburg
The Washington Nationals have assigned 26-year-old left handed pitcher John Lannan to the Double-A affiliate Harrisburg Senators according to Ben Goessling of MASN Sports. Lannan had started 14 games this season, but accumulated just a 2-5 record with a 5.76 ERA while gving up 17 earned runs in his last four appearances - most recently a loss to the Chicago White Sox Sunday.
