The Wizards' Summer League squad is beginning to take shape. The latest addition to the squad is Michigan State's Raymar Morgan, according to Shannon Shelton of Detroit Free Press:
Michigan State forward Raymar Morgan will play for the Washington Wizards in the upcoming NBA summer leagues next month.
Morgan's agent, Mark Termini, said that Morgan had multiple summer-league offers after he went undrafted Thursday night.
Morgan's college numbers don't blow you away, but the Wizards are pretty shallow at small forward at the moment, so a strong week in Vegas could give him a shot to stick around.
Between Morgan (who helped the Spartans knock the Terps out of the NCAA tournament last season) and Jon Scheyer, the Wizards are doing a great job of making the most Maryland un-friendly squad in recent memory.
