Capitals Go Goalie In Round Four, Select Philipp Grubauer

The Capitals went to the OHL for their third pick in the 2010 NHL Draft, select Philipp Grubauer of the Windsor Spitfires, who acquired him in a trade last season. After joining Windsor, Grubauer went 13-1-1-1, allowing 2.37 goals per game and sporting a .907 save percentage

As lynxtheone points out on Japers Rink, this makes for a bit of a logjam for future Washington netminders. He'll have to compete with Semyon Varlamov, Michal Neuvirth and Braden Holtby for opportunities on this squad.
