Redskins Running Back Competition: Good For Team, Bad For Fantasy Football


When Washington began accumulating veteran running backs this offseason, Redskins fans were confused. But they're not the only ones who will be watching the running back competition closely when training camp begins next month. Avid fantasy football owners will be keeping a close eye on Ashburn as well.

Kyle Shanahan indicated to the Washington Post today that "an actual depth chart doesn't exist", which is sure to give heartburn to thousands of fantasy footballers. FFToolbox.com goes so far as to break this situation down even further, indicating that the running back fantasy confusion has plagued Shanahan offenses in both Denver and Houston in the past.

If that's not enough reason to name a starting running back and stick with one, I don't know what is.
