Stephen Strasburg has already had a town offer to name itself after him, his own burger, and is probably well on his way to winning the mayoral election in DC this fall. However, what Strasburg lacks is theme music. Matthew Kaminski, the Atlanta Braves organist, is looking to rectify that problem. Kristen Hudak has the story:
↵↵↵On Sunday, Kaminski tweeted asking for help with the Nationals and specifically for phenom Stephen Strasburg. He's considering "When I Grow Up to be a Man" by the Beach Boys or "Cheese-burg-er in Paradise" but he's open to your suggestions.
↵
Honestly, I think that those two choices are kinda lame. Stephen Strasburg strikes fear and terror into the hearts of his opponents. Dishonoring him with a Jimmy Buffett song is just going over the line. Thought the cognitive disconnect between seeing a mind-blowing curve ball while singing the lyrics "medium rare with mustard 'be nice, heaven on earth with an onion slice" would be fairly amazing. Kaminski might want to choose something more appropriate, like the theme song for Jaws.
↵In fact, I don't agree with many of Kaminski's choices, but that is due to my status as a fan:
↵↵↵He has other songs in store for this series too. Ryan Zimmerman will get a Bob Dylan song, Adam Dunn will hear "It's All Been Done" by the Barenaked Ladies and Willie Harris should expect the "Oompa Loompa" song from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

The "Oompa Loompa" song is just mean. I think Kaminksi is going to regret calling out my boy like that.
