There was some noise earlier in the year about the Nationals considering a trade for Kansas City right fielder David DeJesus. Granted, this was when they were sort of in the playoff race, which is most definitely not true right now. But the move made a lot of sense, considering DeJesus is a solid on-base percentage guy and the top of the Nationals order is fully incapable of grasping this concept.
↵That noise died down, until today. According to Bill Ladson, the Nationals were interested in DeJesus, but decided they didn't need him with Roger Bernadina around.
↵↵↵The #Nats had interest in #Royals outfielder David DeJesus, but appear satisfied with Roger Bernadina in right field.

Sigh. Here's a novel idea: trade for DeJesus, then move Bernadina to center field and bench Nyjer Morgan. See, that wasn't so hard, was it? Everyone wins.
