Chad Cordero's Long Road Back To The Majors Is Complete

As long as the Washington Post continues to remember the "magical" 2005 Nationals season, we'd be remiss to not write something about the closer for that team, Chad Cordero. Cordero once looked like an up-and-comer after starring on the 2005 Nationals, but instead, he had arm surgery that kept him out for all of 2008. Last year, he spent the entire year in the minors as he worked on coming back.

And now, at long last, he's back in the Majors. The Seattle Times is reporting the Mariners will call up Cordero from AAA to replace Ken Griffey Jr.'s sport on the roster.

Congratulations to Chad for making it all the way back. With all he went through, it would have been easy to give up. He didn't, and now, he's back where he belongs.
