Redskins In Madden 2011: Better, But Still Not Good

EA Sports has released the team ratings for Madden 2011 (via Pasta Padre) and while the Redskins have made great strides since last season, the game developers aren't ready to make the team into a title contender just yet.

Washington's team rating is up six points from last year, jumping from a 70 to a 76, which is good, but not good enough to get the Redskins out of the NFC East cellar (The other NFC East teams? Cowboys - 87, Giants - 81, Eagles - 80). Still, getting a 76 is a good sign that things are going to get better this season.

In the meantime, let's hope game developers aren't working on recreating the swinging gate formation for this year's edition.
