At long last, we finally have our answer to the question on everyone's mind: who would the Nationals send down to make room for Stephen Strasburg? According to Bill Ladson, the answer is ... Craig Stammen.
The #Nats have optioned RHP Craig Stammen to Triple-A Syracuse and will call up RHP Stephen Strasburg.
Stammen pitched extremely well today against the Reds, giving up just one run in 6 2/3 innings, but he has struggled in most of his recent starts prior to today.
