Poll: Did Scott Rolen Swing?

While it's easy to blame Matt Capps for the Nationals' loss today, others might choose to push the blame elsewhere. Looks like Jim Riggleman is one of them.

Riggleman: "I know for a fact Rolen swung on that pitch before the home run. I don't care if that sounds like excuses or what."

This photo could be some pretty damning evidence that Riggleman is right. The count was 2-2, and a called strike would have been the second out in the ninth inning. The score would have still been tied at two, and the Nationals' rally in the bottom of the ninth could have resulted in a victory, rather than just extra innings.

But did it even matter? Maybe the Nationals wouldn't have rallied in the ninth if they hadn't just fallen behind. We could have been heading to extra innings anyway. Share your thoughts in our poll below.
