Seriously Nationals, Let Teddy Win The President's Race

New, 2 comments

MASN's Kristen Hudak raises a really good point: wouldn't Stephen Strasburg's debut be a perfect time for Teddy to finally win a President's Race? The running joke is that Teddy never wins the mid-inning event, kind of like how every South Park episode ends with Kenny dying.

Tuesday would be a perfect time for our favorite Racing President to shed his lovable loser label. The Nats aren't lovable losers any longer. On Tuesday, they take a giant step forward by closing the door on the problems of 2008 and 2009 and turning those painful years into two legitimate, highly-touted young players.

I couldn't agree more. Well said, Kristen.
