It appears the Redskins have continued their offseason routine of only signing players that are past their primes. (Kidding, sort of). Comcast SportsNet's Ryan O'Hallorhan is reporting that the Redskins will add 33-year old Mike Furrey to their wide receiver mix.
Add Mike Furrey, 33, to the #Redskins hope-to-be-No. 4 receiver mix, joining Joey Galloway (38) and Bobby Wade (29).
Furrey was a member of the Cleveland Browns last year, where he had 23 receptions for 170 yards and no touchdowns. His best year came in 2006 as a member of the Lions, when he caught 98 passes for 1,086 yards and six touchdowns.
