Nationals Suffer Giant Loss To The Giants

Washington, DC (Sports Network) - Buster Posey singled in the go-ahead run during a rally in the seventh inning and added a two-run homer in the ninth, as the Giants upended the Washington Nationals, 10-5, to win for the fifth time in six games.

Posey had four hits for the second time in four games. He has seven homers this season, including six during San Francisco's current 11-game road trip, which ends Sunday. Posey has been one of the hottest hitters in the last 10 days, batting .513 (19-for-37) with 13 RBI.

Aaron Rowand homered to tie the game to begin the four-run uprising in the seventh. Juan Uribe had three RBI and his two-run double capped the seventh- inning push for San Francisco, which bounced back from an 8-1 defeat on Friday.
