The MLB All-Star Game is tonight and despite having a handful of worthy candidates, the Nationals will send only closer Matt Capps to represent the ball club. Our Nationals' blog, Federal Baseball, examines Capps' All-Star credentials, and profiles the other six All-Stars in the organization's history. On Capps:

Kind of bittersweet, but true none the less. No matter where Matt Capps will suit up in August, tonight, he represents D.C.. I'm looking forward to him inheriting the lead late in the game against the juggernaut lineup the A.L. has, even off the bench. Should be some good old fashioned drama.
